SPIE Wind, leader in wind maintenance services in Italy, is seeking an experienced professional to join its team as a WindTurbineMaintenanceTechnician. We are looking for a specialized technician in the maintenance of wind turbines to join our team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the optimal operation of wind power plants. The ideal candidate will combine advanced technical knowledge with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, even in adverse weather conditions and at height.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventivemaintenance operations according to manufacturer protocols, ensuring the correct functioning of all windturbine components.
  • Carry out correctivemaintenance interventions for the identification, faultdiagnosis, and resolution of issues in the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems of windturbines.
  • Implement and verify compliance with safetyprotocols and environmental standards during all interventions, ensuring work practices that minimize environmental impact and guarantee team safety.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the interventions performed, documenting the operations carried out, replaced parts, and anomalies detected in the controlsystem.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of technical improvements to optimize the performance of assigned windfarms.

Other Tasks:

  • Manage the sparepartsinventory and specialized tools, ensuring their availability for scheduled and emergency interventions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in the analysis of recurring faults and the development of innovative solutions to increase plant reliability.
  • Perform visual and technical inspections of critical components such as blades, nacelle, gearbox, and generator, identifying premature wear or anomalies.
  • Coordinate with other company departments and clients to plan interventions that minimize wind turbine downtime.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of new technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices in wind turbine maintenance.

Education and Experience:

  • Higher technical education in electromechanics, electrotechnics, mechanics, or equivalent (Industrial Technician Diploma, Short Degree in Engineering, etc.)
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in windturbinemaintenance
  • Advanced knowledge of #hydraulic and electrical systems applied to windenergy
  • GWO certification and occupational safety (preferred)
  • Knowledge of English (preferred)

Technical and Personal Skills:

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools specific to the wind sector
  • Knowledge of renewableenergy and sustainability principles
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Willingnesstotravel and to carry out interventions in various windfarms at national and international level
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
