System Architect (m/f/d)

• System architecture definition: Design the functional and technical architecture of the system in line with customer requirements
• Needs analysis: Lead the analysis of specifications and challenge requirements
• Requirements engineering: Structure, formalize and allocate requirements to subsystems
• Cross-functional technical leadership: Ensure overall consistency across teams (software, hardware, mechanical)
• Interface management: Define and control interfaces between the different subsystems
• V-cycle: Ensure consistency from the design phase through to validation (IVVQ)
• Support for technical choices: Make key technical trade-offs and support project teams
• Validation: Define the system verification and validation strategy

• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent and have solid experience with complex systems
• You have five to ten years of experience in systems engineering
• Advanced command of the V-cycle with a comprehensive product-level vision
• Experience in technical leadership or multi-disciplinary coordination
• Ability to take a high-level view and structure architectures
• Leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and sound decision-making ability
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools: DOORS, Polarion, Capella, SysML
• Experience in managing complex requirements and traceability
• Knowledge of embedded architectures (software / electronics)
• Understanding of regulatory constraints (e.g. ARP4754, ISO, ASPICE depending on the sector)
• Fluency in English; fluent German is a strong advantage
