Senior Product Quality Investigator (AMQ) - Connectivity and Telematics (m/f/d)

• Own the end-to-end execution of assigned aftermarket connectivity and telematics quality investigations across company brands
• Develop investigation plans, define problem statements, collect and analyze relevant data, reproduce issues, and document technical findings
• Provide advanced technical support for telematics and connectivity issues to the aftermarket organization during issue investigation and resolution
• Act as the primary technical focal point for assigned investigations, coordinating activities between Aftersales, vehicle plant quality teams, suppliers, and engineering organizations
• Manage assigned investigations and product improvement activities in JIRA and related quality systems
• Drive assigned quality issues through the early stages of the 8D process (D0-D3), Lead the technical investigation through root cause confirmation and support engineering teams in developing and validating corrective actions in later stages
• Analyze field data and returned warranty parts to validate failure modes, identify root causes, and support development of corrective actions
• Coordinate the receipt, logistics, handling, analysis, and disposition of warranty-returned parts to ensure efficient processing and traceability
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing technical knowledge databases, enhancing investigation methodologies, and sharing lessons learned across the organization, Support the continuous improvement of field quality investigation processes and engineering best practices

• B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer or Automotive Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven senior-level experience in quality investigation, integration or validation of automotive telematics and connected vehicle systems, including: Cellular connectivity and modem diagnostics, including network registration, roaming and connectivity troubleshooting, SIM and eSIM provisioning, connectivity management, APNs and carrier-related integration, Emergency and assistance services such as eCall, including next-generation eCall, and bCall, including voice and data communication paths, Vehicle communication and diagnostics, including CAN, Automotive Ethernet and UDS/DoIP, System-level test planning, execution, defect analysis and verification on bench and vehicle, Ability to analyze modem, vehicle and network logs using diagnostic and tracing tools such as Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT or QPST, or equivalent tools
• Experience in field quality investigations and resolving software, hardware and integration issues across system boundaries, Ability to independently diagnose complex vehicle connectivity issues and reproduce failures in representative condition
• Strong experience in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
• Advanced experience with vehicle network analysis tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer, and experience with Wireshark or equivalent network analysis tools, Knowledge of cellular communications, IP networking, logging methods and relevant vehicle communication protocols
• Understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic architectures and interfaces with telematics systems
• Knowledge of Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT and QPST, or equivalent modem diagnostic tools, Wireshark and network analysis tools, JIRA or equivalent issue tracking systems
• Fluency in English
• Valid Class B driving licence
