Regional KOL Senior Manager (m/w/x)

• Develop and implement strategies to build advocacy and engagement with key eye care providers in support of brand and commercial objectives
• Create and implement methods to train local SSCs to identify and recruit KOLs, strengthening regional relationships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the ophthalmic medical community, including physicians and teaching institutions, with a scientific, needs-based approach
• Conduct annual needs assessments and develop aligned regional KOL plans, including progress reporting to leadership
• Support the development of communication programs to keep KOLs informed on company, product, and clinical updates
• Manage and maintain the regional KOL database, ensuring data accuracy, complete documentation, and tracking through honoraria
• Coordinate with Legal on KOL contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance and proper onboarding documentation
• Plan and facilitate regional advisory boards in support of KOL and medical leadership activities
• Represent the company at medical congresses and scientific meetings to support KOL strategy and engagement
• Act as expert on disease areas and products for internal and external stakeholders to support understanding and adoption
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, R&D, and Professional Education, to address KOL needs

• You hold a relevant educational qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Strong business acumen and the ability to manage timelines, processes and procedures
• At least five years of direct experience with Key Opinion Leaders, preferably in ophthalmology
• Experience with product launches, advisory boards, and post-approval studies adds valuable insight
