Purpose and aim of the position

CAIP is a leading components manufacturer specializing in high-quality interior injection-molded parts, supplying all major OEMs in the global automotive industry. This new location will serve as a foundation for continued growth, innovation, and close proximity to key automotive production sites.

We are looking for an experienced Plant Finance Manager (m/f/d) for our parent company's CAIP new plant in Zaragoza, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for all Finance matters on site and actively support the setup and development of the location.

Job Responsibility:

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring full compliance with Spanish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local statutory requirements. Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Taxation: Manage all tax obligations, including corporate tax, VAT, and other local taxes. Ensure accurate tax filings and maintain a strong relationship with external auditors and tax advisors.

Financial Leadership: Lead the daily operations of the finance department. Manage and control cash flow (budget and Actual) 

SAP Experience: Utilize SAP FICO module extensively for financial processing, reporting, and cost-center accounting. Ensure data integrity and leverage the system's capabilities for process improvement.

Strongly Preferred:

Demonstrated experience in management accounting: budgeting, cost analysis, and rolling forecast.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or local Spanish equivalent) is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a financial control or senior accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive supply environment in Spain.
