FPGA Engineer (m/f/d)

• Analyzing functional requirements and contributing to FPGA architecture decisions
• Developing RTL functions using VHDL or Verilog
• Performing functional simulations and verifying compliance of FPGA developments
• Defining synthesis and timing constraints
• Participating in the integration of FPGAs onto electronic boards
• Contributing to debugging, bring-up, and validation activities
• Taking part in design reviews and technical discussions with Electronics, Embedded Software, and Systems Engineering teams
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and best practices

• Engineering degree or a Master’s degree in Digital Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• You have at least 5 years of experience in FPGA development
• You have solid knowledge of:
• RTL design using VHDL or Verilog
• AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Microchip FPGA families
• Simulation, synthesis, and implementation tools
• FPGA timing closure, constraints management, and integration challenges
• Embedded electronic systems and hardware development environments
• Experience in the Space, Aerospace, Defense, or Railway industries would be considered a strong asset
• Fluency in English; fluent German is a strong advantage
