FPGA Design Engineer (m/f/d)

• Based on the system specification, you support the development of system architectures, system specifications, and system design through your technical expertise
• Together with colleagues, you develop reusable components
• You accompany projects from the proposal stage to the final product
• You create documentation for your FPGAs
• You work with the team on the continuous improvement of the development environment

• A degree in electrical engineering with a focus on communications engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in FPGA development
• Programming skills in VHDL, Python, and TCL
• Experience with Xilinx and Lattice FPGAs, including backend flow, as well as familiarity with test frameworks (e.g., cocotb, VUnit, OSVVM, UVVM) and tools such as ModelSim or QuestaSim
• Experience in cryptography and working with version control systems, especially Git
• Fluent in English and good command of German
