Embedded Software Engineer - Speech Cloud (m/f/d)

• Create, improve and operate a cloud-based platform targeted for end-to-end feature development
• Work with the platform users (Voice UX Designers/Developers and SW Engineers) to continuously improve the platform to best fit their needs
• Optimizing workflows and introducing desired features
• Work in a cross-functional agile team and closely collaborate with other platform teams to provide the ideal developer experience for all feature development team

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a comparable qualification
• 5+ years of experience in Android application development (experience in Automotive Android application is beneficial)
• Proficiency in developing systems-level applications using Kotlin (Knowledge of modern C++ and Java is beneficial)
• Strong understanding and proven experience in developing multithreaded application as well as good understanding of Agile practices and Scrum methodology and common modern development tools
• Good understanding of AOSP (Android Open-Source Project), Android SDK and Linux; good grasp of design patterns and also specific to Android app development.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) with unit test and instrument test in Android;Familiarity with build tools, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker)
• Fluent in English, German proficiency is a plus
