Embedded Software Developer – Aerospace (m/f/d)

• Designing and developing embedded software modules in C and/or C++
• Analyzing software requirements and contributing to technical specifications
• Developing low-level software components, drivers, BSPs, communication interfaces and real-time functions
• Participating in software architecture and detailed design activities
• Performing unit testing, integration testing, debugging and troubleshooting on target hardware, simulators or test benches
• Contributing to verification and validation activities, including test procedures, test reports and anomaly analysis
• Ensuring traceability between requirements, software design, code and tests
• Applying configuration management, coding standards, peer reviews and quality processes
• Working closely with system, hardware, safety, cybersecurity, IVVQ, certification and project management teams
• Preparing software documentation and participating in technical reviews

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong experience in C and/or C++ development for real-time or constrained embedded environments
• Good knowledge of RTOS, embedded Linux, bare-metal software and real-time constraints
• Experience working on safety-critical or regulated systems, ideally in Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Energy or Automotive industries
• Knowledge of low-level interfaces and communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, ARINC, UART, SPI or I2C
• Experience with software integration, testing, debugging and validation on target hardware, simulators or test benches
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and processes such as DO-178C, DO-160, ARP4754 or ARP4761 would be a strong asset
• Technical English, including the ability to write specifications, design notes, test procedures and verification reports
