Tuner Tester for Connectivity and Navigation (m/f/d)

• Perform basic FM/RDS Tests from customer point of view (Station List, Presets, AF Jumps, RadioText, Traffic Announcements)
• Perform basic DAB tests from customer point of view (Station List, Presets, Linking, Slideshow…)
• Perform basic TMC tests
• Operate Maintech generator for FM/RDS simulation, R&S SML generator to create signals and perform Tuner Alignment, TIC radio analyser
• Operate Averna URT generator for RF and ETI Playback, Tescom generator to create DAB signals, DAB Scout II Analyser
• Convert recorded files to use with the Maintech generator and operate Maintech generator for TMC Simulation
• Operate TIC generator to create TMC Stations with specific events and parameters, operate the TIC Radio Analyser and recorder

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering or comparable working experience in a technical area
• Understands the background of FM/RDS (Modulation, Phase Div, RDS Groups, Tuner Alignment, TP-Seek, Tunnel detection, eRT, Regional Stations), different kinds of disturbances (e.g. Multipath), background of DAB (Digital Audio, FSC/MSC, FIGs, PL, TM, MOT, Data Services…), background of TMC/RDS (RDS Groups, Encryption, Provider, LTNs, SIDs, Tuner Tasks, Phase Div, Event Codes)
• Basic knowledge about the TPEG System
• BT/Connectivity knowledge (Pairing/Connectivity; Calling features (Active calls/Merge/Conference); Messaging; Contacts Upload/Download; Email; BT Audio; Carplay (Wired & Wireless); Android Audio (Wired & Wireless); IOP (Inter Operability))
• A2DP,HFP AVCRP Testing
• Navigation knowledge (Destination Search/Route Guidance/POI Search/Favorites/OFF Route/Re Routing /Map Display/Zoom/POI Icons/Roadworks/Address Format; Dead Reckoning, Traffic updates)
• Fluent in English
