Your tasks:

  • Act as the first point of contact for data subject requests (e.g., access, correction, deletion) in compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations
  • Follow predefined standard operating procedures (SOPs) to handle common data privacy queries and requests
  • Escalate complex or non-standard cases to the PD privacy expert for further evaluation and decision-making
  • Ensure that each privacy-related request or incident is properly logged and documented in the designated ticketing system (e.g., Jira)
  • Monitor incoming requests to ensure timely acknowledgment and resolution according to internal SLAs
  • Support in routing tickets to the correct team or privacy expert when cross-functional input is needed (e.g., DPO, legal, IT, HR)
  • Maintain basic knowledge of GDPR and company-specific privacy processes sufficient to execute operational tasks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of COS procedures by flagging recurring issues or unclear SOPs
  • Participate in regular alignment meetings with the PD privacy expert to review escalations and update handling guidelines and support internal reporting by providing overviews or summaries of handled tickets when required

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Office Management, or comparable)
  • Basic understanding of data privacy principles, especially GDPR (training will be provided as needed)
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) or similar support platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, especially for handling incoming requests professionally
  • Familiarity with internal tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or Excel) is a plus
  • Fluent English, German is a plus
  • Prior experience in support, admin, or data handling roles is beneficial but not mandatory
